This page tells people about our Community Link service

The service helps people take part in social and leisure activities in their community

For more information phone our Community Link Manager on 020 8647 8600

Our Community Link service works with adults with mild learning disabilities and/ or autism who are able to get out and about independently or with a bit of support from their friends.  The service is for those aged 18 or over

We support small groups of people to set up social groups in community spaces. We encourage people to come together based around shared interests and have helped people set up a range of groups, with activities including sports, crafts, meeting up for a meal and trips to the cinema. We provide initial support to get the group going until everyone feels able to attend independently.

Community Link can also support people on a one to one basis to access established community groups. Once again, this could be any group depending on the individual’s interest. We provide initial support until the individual is ready to attend independently.
