Coronavirus update

Sutton Mencap is open and continuing to operate a range of services to support people with a learning disability and their families.  

  • We are providing after school and Saturday services to children and young people who are current service users.  Sadly we are not able to take new referrals to these services at the moment.  However if you would like to discuss future provision contact our Children’s Services Manager Asma Jacob on 020 8138 8955

 

  • We are also running a community day service for adults from Monday to Friday.  Groups are smaller than before, which has greatly limited the number of people we can support.  If you would like to find out more, contact our Adult Services Manager, Tammy Satchell on 020 8138 8956

 

  • We are also running a number online activity groups using Zoom.  You don’t need to be an existing service user to join these.  To find out more about how to join contact our service manager Toni Baldwin on 020 8138 8958

 

 

We know that the pandemic has made life difficult for people with a learning disability and their families. Whether you use our services or not, if you are worried or need extra help, please contact us on 020 8647 8600.

Sutton Mencap is a local charity which works to improve the lives of people with a learning disability and their carers in the London Borough of Sutton.

We provide play, leisure and learning opportunities both at our base in Wallington and in the wider community. Our services include after-school, Saturday and holiday clubs for children and young people. We also provide a wide variety of group-based activities for adults. 

Sutton Mencap is an independent local charity, affiliated to the Royal Mencap Society.
