Members play a very important role in Sutton Mencap. 

Sutton Mencap is run by its trustee board, all of whom are also members of Sutton Mencap. The trustee board is accountable to the members of Sutton Mencap. Each year, the trustee board holds an Annual General Meeting, to give an account to members on how the charity is being run.

By becoming a voting member, you will:

• help make sure that we stay accountable to local people with a learning disability, parents and carers and the wider community.
• strengthen the voice of people with learning disability, their parents and carers.
• demonstrate your support for the work we do.
• vote at our Annual General Meeting and put yourself forward as a trustee.
